Is this course good for me?
If you want to improve your skills at taking photographs with your smartphone, and then enhancing and publishing them, but you don't want to spend hours on retouching and a lot of money on professional gear and software, this course was made for you.
I already know how to take pictures with my phone. What else is there to know?
Actually, taking pictures with your phone presents a lot of interesting options. In this course, you will first learn how to prepare for that shoot, understand lighting and composition, perspective and focus. Then you will learn how to fix, cleanup and crop it properly. Then we will get a little creative and make your pictures more interesting and unique. And lately, we will create professional looking social media posts that use typography appropriately.
Will any kind of smartphone do?
You'll need an iPhone or an Android phone that can run the Adobe apps we use. Note, that the Spark Post app hasn't been released on Android, but the browser version at spark.adobe.com can still be used, so no worries. Windows phones are a no-go.
How long does it take, and how much does it cost?
Smartphone Photography 101 includes 4 lessons (a lesson is about 90—120 minutes long).
It is ideal to take 1 lesson per week, 1-on-1 or in 2 person groups.
